Nearly 100% of the 120+ complex lab projects completed have been in operating buildings or on operating campuses with utility interconnections.

Gonda is a major research lab building on the main UCLA campus built in 1998. The project goals were to achieve a 50% energy use reduction with a payback of seven years or less. The project scope consisted of retro-commissioning with SkySpark analytics; Level III ASHRAE energy audit with eQUEST energy model and contractor price quotes for LADWP incentives; BAS supervisory control architecture, standard development and control sequence optimization. These energy conservation measures will also significantly reduce maintenance costs in both equipment and labor.
