Altura is thrilled to announce we’ve been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy and the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign as Monitoring Based Commissioning Service Provider of the Year! The award was accepted by Altura engineer Tavis Werts at the 2019 BCxA Conference in Chicago.

This award is recognition for work Altura has completed with participants of the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign, including MGM Resorts International, Los Alamos National Laboratory, UC Irvine and UC Santa Cruz. The Campaign recognizes a Monitoring Based Commissioning service provider who has helped Campaign participants implement Energy Management and Information Systems. Since 2013, Altura has worked extensively with these clients and many others to develop and implement smart commissioning programs which leverage the SkySpark data analytics platform to unlock deep energy savings opportunities in buildings and portfolios.

The Smart Energy Analytics Campaign is a program led by the U.S. Department of Energy that encourages the use of a wide variety of commercially available Energy Management and Information Systems (EMIS) technologies and ongoing monitoring practices to help uncover those energy-saving opportunities and improve building performance for the long run.
