Altura Associates, Inc. announced today it has renewed its accredited Consultancy Partnership with CDP for the 2016 calendar year. As a Climate Change Consultancy Partner, Altura will continue providing support to companies managing greenhouse gas inventories and reporting to CDP.
Altura is one of 8 companies included on CDP’s Consultancy Partners list for the USA. Consultancy Partners communicate regularly with CDP and stay up-to-date on emerging reporting strategies and trends. Consultancy Partners collaborate with CDP to share best practices and acquire first-hand knowledge of changes to the reporting framework, guidance on reporting methodologies, and methods for quality checking survey responses prior to submittal to CDP.
Altura’s consultants have been involved with CDP responses since 2010, and have worked with multiple companies on efforts ranging from integrated multi-year corporate sustainability programs to response check services (providing final QA/QC for a survey before a company submits its response). The company has provided consulting support for industry-leading partners in multiple sectors, including Information Technology, Financials, Health Care, and Industrials.
“Altura is pleased to continue our partnership with CDP,” said Ryan Gaylord, Principal and Co-Founder of Altura. “We’ve found that reporting to CDP provides companies with a valuable framework for organizing and maximizing results from corporate sustainability programs.”
In addition to assisting companies with preparing CDP surveys, Altura assists clients with stakeholder engagement, data collection, greenhouse gas inventory development, and alignment with other sustainability platforms such as GRI, DJSI, Bloomberg ESG and others. Altura specializes in helping clients to establish improvement goals and implement strategies to achieve these goals.
Paul Robins, Head of Partnerships at CDP, commented: “Altura is a valuable Consultancy Partner because not only are they thoroughly versed in reporting to CDP, they have the technical and engineering credentials to help respondents identify and implement measures to improve environmental performance and achieve meaningful reductions in GHG emissions.”
Altura assists multi-national clients to develop global sustainability strategies and implement advanced company-wide programs. The company is based in California and services projects throughout the USA and around the world.
